Another issue I had related in part due to my weight is sitting in the air plane seats. I don’t understand how anyone over two hundred pounds or five foot ten inches tall could think those seats are comfortable. I felt like I was wedging my butt into the seat, and folding my knees in as close as possible.
I really didn’t enjoy the whole sardine feeling, and wish the seats were just two inches wider, and had five inches more leg room. I know that might mean less money per flight for the companies, but doesn’t customer satisfaction come first?
I am sure that when I lose weight, one half of the problem will be resolved, but it is still humiliating to deal with. I know I am obese, but it made me wonder how people over three hundred pounds ever travel comfortably.

We cough up the extra dough for First Class.. always –
Dude, I hear you. Lots of conference room chairs are pretty darn uncomfortable too if you’re plus-sized. :-/
@Justin - Who can afford First Class? Besides, most of the flights I take don’t even have a first class option.
