I have a fairly difficult time controlling what I eat. I am trying to make healthier choices, but I can’t always do that. Last night, I had a fairly big slice of pizza. Yesterday, I spent nearly two hours working out, and I feel like I destroyed all the work I did with the pizza eating. I partly blame the wife for bringing it up and focusing on us having some, but I should have eaten less. It was a struggle to stop at just one fairly big slice.
So I am going to focus more and more on exercise. The more exercise I can do, mixed in with my attempts to eat healthier, will hopefully combat any time I slip and eat something I shouldn’t. I went for a fairly long walk yesterday, though not near as far as my friend Tom goes in a day, but still very far for me.
I am also trying to gain access to a gym, which will mean being able to do some real weight lifting with a variety of machines and weights. I was originally going to buy some weights, and I might still do that, but I will never be able to buy all the equipment I need. It would just be too much money to purchase it all, even used.
Hopefully, despite the pizza, this week ends up turning out great.

2 hours working out… that is a really really long time. Why do you workout so long and what kind of workout was it?
I hope it is weight lifting because you can more than cut that time in half if you lift weights… it is better for you too!
The positive side of this is you the pizza you ate didn’t put you over calories for the day (in theory). In practice, pizza should be a once a month type of indulgence, unless you are getting some of the smaller ones I mentioned in a previous comment.
