I have dropped another pound this week, and I am sure it is due to the extra workouts I did with my new gym membership at BodyParts Fitness.
I have also been eating as healthy as possible. This last week, my wife brought home a pizza, and I only had one slice. I am very proud of myself for not going the extra mile. I remember when I used to eat upwards of half a large pizza before I stopped myself, so it isn’t very easy for me to stop with one slice.
I also reminded her that if I am going to have unhealthy things, that I would rather do it before two in the afternoon. This will hopefully help me lose weight as I know my metabolism slows down as the day stretches on, so moving anything unhealthy to earlier in the day will hopefully mean it won’t stick to my belly.
I am a little disappointed that I only lost a pound this week, as I have been trying really hard, but I am continuing to remain optimistic about this whole process. I understand I have to be patient, which is something I am not really good at. I have found writing this blog to be invaluable to me, as I almost feel like someone is watching over my shoulder, or rooting for me, and both things are just what I need.
